DT Orthopaedic Awards Winners

Salesperson of the Year Implant

SUNHINE COAST / WIDE BAY
Daniel Mayne

Daniel receives his name on the perpetual trophy and a crystal trophy and a $2000 Travel Voucher.

Two years ago Dan started with DTA on a territory lacked a dedicated focus. In his first year as an Associate he was able to steady the ship on the Sunshine Coast hitting budget and bringing it back to where it once was through providing good solid reliable service to his customers.

In the last 12 months Dan has taken things to the next level and has quickly developed his skills to become a high performing Product Specialist in just his first year as a PS. He has completely owned the responsibility of running his territory and successfully taken down new business, finalised set-up deals, started trialling and building relationships with apprehensive zero dollar customers and put in an incredible amount of KM’s on the road with massive success at his regional account in Hervey Bay. Congratulations Dan.

Salesperson of the Year Imaging & Resection

NEW ZEALAND
Anro Becker

Anro receives his name on the perpetual trophy and a crystal trophy and a $2000 Travel Voucher.

Imaging and Resection New Zealand has had a massive year, with every product specialist stepping up to ensure the best results for Device Technologies and their customers. We’ve won multiple accounts in trials against incumbent stacks through great service and top products. This year has seen the rise of resection with accounts across the whole country seeing double and triple digit percentage growth. Anro has been a wonderful asset to NZ I&R since joining in November 2019. Well done all involved.

Queensland receives their name on the perpetual trophy.

QLD has had another amazing year with 4 territories making budget and a collective growth rate of 23% for the region. The stability of the team, culture to help a team mate out and competitive drive to win has seen fantastic performances over the past 4 years.

These results would not have been achieved without the great leadership from Daniel and Scott who both motivate and energise the team to deliver these results. Well done Queensland.

Business Person of the Year

MELBOURNE EAST
Brad Haugh, Seamus Young, Julian Pearson, Tania Rogers, Natasha Vugs

Melbourne East receives his name on the perpetual trophy and each a crystal trophy and a $250 VISA Gift Card

Please join me in congratulating Brad Haugh, Seamus Young, Julian Pearson, Tania Rogers and Natasha Vugs as our FY20 Orthopaedic Business People of the Year. Their long term commitment to the health of Melbourne East has seen incredible achievement, and their attitude of consistently chipping away at consignment and loan to sale setups has resulted in an efficient and direct sale dominated territory. Of note, the last few years has seen a consignment reduction from 20% to 2%, all while growing more than 50% over the same period of time.

Exceeding their combined sales target of more than $10,000,000 in FY20 is no mean feat, and were it not for the misfortune of the final quarter, growth in excess of $3,000,000 was well within their reach.

Nonetheless, a highly efficient, more than $10,000,000 territory is well deserving of Business People of the Year recognition. Congratulations!

Rookie of the Year

SCOTT TAYLOR
Sydney South, NSW & ACT

Scott receives his name on the perpetual trophy and a crystal trophy and a $500 VISA Gift Card

Scott joined DT in July 2019 and within a short period of time was the only person running the Sydney South territory worth $3.7 Million. Scott committed time to his education and topped the on boarding program for FY20 whilst also jumping straight in to servicing and supporting his customers.

Scott has learnt a lot by being thrown in the deep end and is looking forward to sharing some of the work load with his new territory partners Erin and Kieran. Well done Scott.
